Biography
Jessica St. John Marshall seeks joy in nature, and wonder in light. Jessica earned a BA in Communications from the University of Colorado, Boulder while maintaining a membership in the Glass Art Society and attending workshops at The Corning Museum of Glass.
The convergence of these two study paths laid a natural foundation for Jessica's innate drive to communicate light, reflection, transparency and how each interplay with color. Through the voice of the Colorado Rocky Mountain Landscapes, Jessica's current studio practice focuses on losing extraneous strokes. The distillation of her painting processing is being rewarded with consistent, impressionistic representations of Rocky Mountain Western skies and landscapes in bold, rich colorful marks so typically associated with oil based mediums.
